“Beatrice Azumah Foundation Inspires BECE Students With Donations And Motivations”

The Beatrice Azumah Foundation recently made a significant impact on the lives of over 600 BECE students across three schools in the Ashanti Region. The foundation donated essential educational materials, including mathematical sets, pencils, and pens, to Bomso M.A Basic School, Ayeduase M.A Basic School, and Kotei M.A Basic School. The donation ceremony, held at the PIWC church in Kotei, featured inspiring speeches from esteemed guests. Beatrice Azumah's mother Martha Azumah, who was instrumental in establishing the foundation, encouraged the students to work hard and pursue their dreams. Serwaa Akoto Ampofo, a former SRC General Secretary at KNUST, also delivered a motivational speech, sharing his personal experiences and emphasizing the importance of education. Doctor Bright Ampofo emphasized the importance of personal hygiene and shared valuable life skills with the students. Christian Atsu Being Laid To Rest (See Photos)

Christian Atsu is a Ghanaian player who was a victim of the Earthquake which resulted in life and property loss of many in Turkey and Syria.


Unfortunately the Ghanaian player lost his life resulting to the  inability to reach out to him under the rubble quickest time which lead Ghanaians to sorrows.


The corpse of the footballer was transported from Turkey in a cargo airplane to Ghana which arrived in evening around 7-8pm.

The President of Ghana together with his vice announced on the arrival of the corpse at the airport that the footballer will receive a state burial.


Today the burial ceremony took place at the state house which Atsu’s wife gave a heartwarming tribute together with Atsu’s Sister.

Many Ghanaian players such as Asamoah Gyan, John Paintsil and others represented to make up a wonderful burial ceremony.

Christian Atsu is laid to rest and photos below are scenes from the ceremony.
