“Beatrice Azumah Foundation Inspires BECE Students With Donations And Motivations”

The Beatrice Azumah Foundation recently made a significant impact on the lives of over 600 BECE students across three schools in the Ashanti Region. The foundation donated essential educational materials, including mathematical sets, pencils, and pens, to Bomso M.A Basic School, Ayeduase M.A Basic School, and Kotei M.A Basic School. The donation ceremony, held at the PIWC church in Kotei, featured inspiring speeches from esteemed guests. Beatrice Azumah's mother Martha Azumah, who was instrumental in establishing the foundation, encouraged the students to work hard and pursue their dreams. Serwaa Akoto Ampofo, a former SRC General Secretary at KNUST, also delivered a motivational speech, sharing his personal experiences and emphasizing the importance of education. Doctor Bright Ampofo emphasized the importance of personal hygiene and shared valuable life skills with the students. Actress Nana Ama Mcbrown Biography (Cars,Houses,Children, Husband)

Felicity Ama Agyemang known as Nana Ama McBrown is a Ghanaian actress, TV presenter, and music writer. She rose to prominence for her role in the television series Tentacles. Later, she found mainstream success following her role in the Twi-language movie Asoreba.


Nana Ama was born in Kumasi, Ghana, on August 15, 1973. Her mother, Cecilia Agyenim Boateng, and her father Kwabena Nkrumah divorced when Nana Ama was young. With her father gone and her mother unable to take care of her and her six other siblings, Nana Ama together with her siblings was adopted by Kofi McBrown and her aunt, Madam Betty Obiri Yeboah. As a result, Nana Ama considers her childhood to have been difficult.

McBrown attended St. Peter’s International Residential School, she was there for some time and moved on to Minnesota International. She later attended Central International and proceeded to Kwadaso L.A. Junior Secondary School to finish her Junior High School education.

Nana Ama gained admission to St. Louis SHS, but she was transferred to Prince of Peace Girls Senior High School at South Suntreso, Kumasi, a school that was closer to her home. However, she dropped out in her first year, and later attended the College of Business, where she obtained a secretarial certificate.

 started her acting career after she answered an audition call on the radio by Mr. Michael Films, and she was hired to do costuming. However, on the set, she was given the lead role by Director Samual Nyamekye, as he thought she was more suitable for acting. Her first movie lands her a spot on the TV series Tentacles in the year 2001.

In 2007, in the movie titled “Asoreba“, co-starring Mercy Aseidu and Agya Koo, she gained massive attention, and ever since then, Nana has become a popular actress, and she slowly built a strong following by releasing a slew of critically acclaimed movies. She was appointed as an ambassador for the COVID-19 National Trust Fund in 2021.

For the film Dee Adee Wo No, Nana Ama received Best/English Actress and Best Actress in Leading Role in 2011. For the same movie, she won Best Traditional Movie and Best Story.

Nana Ama is the film writer, director, and producer, person to develop, produce, direct, and star in a film and win four awards the same night.

She has over 30 awards after spending nearly two decades in the movie industry.
