“Beatrice Azumah Foundation Inspires BECE Students With Donations And Motivations”

The Beatrice Azumah Foundation recently made a significant impact on the lives of over 600 BECE students across three schools in the Ashanti Region. The foundation donated essential educational materials, including mathematical sets, pencils, and pens, to Bomso M.A Basic School, Ayeduase M.A Basic School, and Kotei M.A Basic School. The donation ceremony, held at the PIWC church in Kotei, featured inspiring speeches from esteemed guests. Beatrice Azumah's mother Martha Azumah, who was instrumental in establishing the foundation, encouraged the students to work hard and pursue their dreams. Serwaa Akoto Ampofo, a former SRC General Secretary at KNUST, also delivered a motivational speech, sharing his personal experiences and emphasizing the importance of education. Doctor Bright Ampofo emphasized the importance of personal hygiene and shared valuable life skills with the students. Berla Mundi is a Ghanaian voice artist, radio presenter, media personality, and women's advocate. She is one of the leading women in media in Ghana and a vibrant individual who has become a global brand. For many years, she has positioned herself as a youth leader and developed an interest in youth advocacy and sustainable development projects. 


Berla is an alumnus of St. Theresa's School, Achimota School, and the University of Ghana where she studied linguistics and psychology for her first degree. She studied French at Alliance Francais. She also studied at the Ghana Institute of Journalism.


She began her media career after becoming the second runner-up at the most cherished  2010 Miss Maliaka beauty pageant. She worked with GHOne TV a subsidiary of the EIB Network for 5 years. She is currently with TV3 Ghana a subsidiary of Media General Ghana Limited. Berla has hosted reality shows and corporate events.

It’s no doubt that Berla Mundi is a household name in Ghana and this is because of her endearing personality and how passionate she is about her job or any task handed over to her.

In 2018, she won the Female TV Entertainment Host award at the 2018 Radio and Television Awards, (RTP)
