The Beatrice Azumah Foundation recently made a significant impact on the lives of over 600 BECE students across three schools in the Ashanti Region. The foundation donated essential educational materials, including mathematical sets, pencils, and pens, to Bomso M.A Basic School, Ayeduase M.A Basic School, and Kotei M.A Basic School. The donation ceremony, held at the PIWC church in Kotei, featured inspiring speeches from esteemed guests. Beatrice Azumah's mother Martha Azumah, who was instrumental in establishing the foundation, encouraged the students to work hard and pursue their dreams. Serwaa Akoto Ampofo, a former SRC General Secretary at KNUST, also delivered a motivational speech, sharing his personal experiences and emphasizing the importance of education. Doctor Bright Ampofo emphasized the importance of personal hygiene and shared valuable life skills with the students. Lawyer Mounique also delivered a motivational speech, encouraging the students to strive for excellence

Parrot mouth return with “Laugh It Off”comedy night slated for April 30,2023.

Parrot Mouth, the popular stand-up comedian known for his hilarious one-liners and comedic timing, is returning to the stage for Laugh it Off comedy night, slated for April 30.


The show, which will take place at  the Association International School (Airport Residential Area), promises to be a night full of laughs and entertainment. Parrot Mouth has been on organizing this event for the past years, but revealed this years event will be one of his kind as he’s poised to bring his unique brand of humor to his fans.

Parrot Mouth is known for his sharp wit and quick comebacks, often riffing off the audience and improvising on the spot. His observational humor touches on a wide range of topics, from everyday life to politics and social issues.

The Laugh it Off comedy night will feature a lineup of other talented comedians like DKB, OB Amponsah, Jacinta, Funny Face, Apkororo, Clemento Suarez, Foster Romanus, Paranran, including up-and-comers and established acts. The organizers revealed they have taken extra precautions to ensure the safety of attendees, with limited capacity.

Tickets for the show are expected to sell out fast, so fans of Parrot Mouth and comedy lovers alike are advised to book their tickets early. This promises to be a night to remember, full of laughter and entertainment.

MY BELOVED school, the University of Science and Technology (U.S.T.) has reverted to its former name, Kwame Nkrumah University. I sincerely think this is a splendid idea to name a great institution after a great man. Streets, airports, squares, etc named after great personalities never die out with time and it is a befitting way of saying thank you to our great men. But in this wise, I think Azumah Nelson is being cheated. Better late than never, so the popular adage goes but wasn't it a "bit too late" to be honoring D.K.
